Skookum Brand Vintage Washington Apple Crate Label, two apples

This fruit crate label was used by Skookum Packers Association, Wenatchee, Washington.  Cartoon image of Native American Indian brave.  Skookum was a marketer who would use insets of other packers labels in their label.  There are hundreds of variations.

  • 8.75 x 10.50 inches in size.
  • Printed in the 1940s.
  • Condition: light border bend on bottom left, a couple handling marks.
An original fruit crate label, not a copy, not a computer printed art print.  A vintage label intended to be pasted on a crate, but never used.  Old stock from a warehouse find.
