Skookum Brand Vintage Washington Apple Crate Label, blue goose


This fruit crate label was used by Skookum Packers Association, Wenatchee, Washington.  Cartoon image of Native American Indian brave, inset of Blue Goose, Ninth Street Skookum Growers.  Skookum was a marketer who would use insets of other packers labels in their label.  There are hundreds of variations.

  • 8.75 x 10.50 inches in size.
  • Printed in the 1940s.
  • Condition: border bend on top left, otherwise nice.
An original fruit crate label, not a copy, not a computer printed art print.  A vintage label intended to be pasted on a crate, but never used.  Old stock from a warehouse find.
