Serenade Brand Vintage English Cracker Label, Batger's

This antique can label was used by Batger & Cos. out of England.  Crackers are an English tradition, its more like a firecracker.  The were a tube covered in bright paper with a small explosive device.  At a gathering, such as a Christmas gather people would have them on there plates as decorations.  Later they would pulled them apart and there would be a bang and candy would be inside.  Image man serenading girl in balcony, box of crackers nearby.

An original label, not a copy, not a computer-printed art print.  A vintage label intended to be pasted on a box, but never used.  Old stock from a warehouse find.
