Serenade Brand Vintage English Cracker Label, Batger's
This antique can label was used by Batger & Cos. out of England. Crackers are an English tradition, its more like a firecracker. The were a tube covered in bright paper with a small explosive device. At a gathering, such as a Christmas gather people would have them on there plates as decorations. Later they would pulled them apart and there would be a bang and candy would be inside.
