Dartland Brand Vintage Placerville El Dorado County California Pear Crate Label

This fruit crate label was used by Robert H. Dart.  Rich gold colors, dart through brand name, take off on growers name.  From a printers archive, date stamped on back JUL 1 1946, the day it was printed.  Lithograph companies would date stamp and set aside a few labels out of a printing run for future reference.  These tend to be very rare, unless a pile survived from the packinghouse.

• Condition, small corner crease on bottom left corner tip, otherwise nice.
