Peacock Brand Vintage Apricot Can Label
This antique can label was used by California Packing Corporation, main office San Francisco, California. Nicely embossed label with image of peacock in full splendor.
- 4.25 x 12.50 inches in size.
- Printed in the 1920s.
- Condition: It's from a sample book, some paper loss on the ends from when taken out of the sample book. Unfortunately this is common on many of these rare early California labels. Rather than taking the time to soak the labels off the paper, some chose the lazy easy option. This happened to quite a few books of scarce labels.
An original label, not a copy, not a computer-printed art print. A vintage label intended to be pasted on a can, but never used. Old stock from a warehouse find. When shopping at a store during this time period, this is the actual label you would have found on a can.
