John Alden Brand Vintage Cape Cod Cranberry Crate Label, 1/2
This cranberry crate label was used by American Cranberry Exchange. John Alden at writing desk. Cranberry labels came in 4 standard sizes, 1/8 barrel, 1/4 barrel, 1/2 barrel and barrel, barrel being the largest and actually went on a barrel.
- 8.50 x 12.25 inches in size.
- Printed in the 1920s.
- Condition, some light staining and light wave from exposure to moisture.
An original box end label, not a copy, not a computer-printed art print. A vintage label intended to be pasted on a crate, but never used. Old stock from a warehouse find.
