El Indio Brand Vintage Vegetable Crate Label, Pepper

This produce crate label was used by The Wells Fargo Company of Arizona, Nogales.  Stock label with nice image of peppers, farmland.  From a printers archive, date stamped DEC 27, 1943 on back, the day it was printed.  Lithograph companies would date stamp and set aside a few labels from an order for future reference.  These are scarcer than those found at the packing houses.

• Printed in the 1940s.
• Mint to near mint condition, a couple handling marks.
