King's Diet Brand Vintage Clarksburg Asparagus Crate Label

This produce crate label was used by F. E. King, Clarksburg, Sacramento Delta, California. Large bunch of asparagus, take off on growers name.

9.50 x 9.50 inches in size, wider at bottom and tapers toward top. Since asparagus is wider at the base, the crate is shaped the same to protect the asparagus from shifting in the crate.
Printed in the 1940s.
