Bocce Brand Vintage Lodi Grape Crate Label
This fruit crate label was used by C. Mondavi & Sons, Lodi, California. Fun image of Italian men playing bocce ball and drinking wine, cheese, bread...traditional stuff. This label would have gone on a crate of zinfandel juice grapes, grapes shipped back east and sold to home wine makers. They generally shipped in 36 pound crates and people would buy a few crates for making wine.
- 4.50 x 13.00 inches in size.
- Printed in the 1940s.
- Mint condition.
An original fruitcrate label, not a copy, not a computer printed art print. A vintage label intended to be pasted on a crate, but never used. Old stock from a warehouse find.
