California Green Asparagus Brand Vintage Walnut Grove California Asparagus Crate Label

This produce crate label was used by Alex. Brown Co., on the Sacramento Delta.  Same family as the Bank of Alex Brown, at least what I was told.

• 9.25 x 9.75 inches in size, wider at bottom and tapers toward top.  Since asparagus is wider at the base, the crate is shaped the same to protect the asparagus from shifting in the crate.
• Printed in the 1940s.
• Condition: heavy wave from exposure to moisture.
