Evening Star Brand Vintage San Fernando Lemon Crate Label varnish
This citrus crate label was used by San Fernando Heights Lemon ASS'N., California. Nice image of mission, bright evening star in sky, citrus groves on rolling hills in the background. Part of a popular series, others are Morning Sun, Silver Moon and the hard to find Southern Cross. This version had a light varnish applied at the lithograph company, many labels have this, makes the colors really come out. If you are buying the set, the others are more of a flat color, so you may want to opt for the other version
