Uncle Sam Brand Wapato Washington Apple Crate Label, blue
This fruit crate label was used by Wapato Fruit & Cold Storage. Very nice image of a solemn Uncle Sam, designed after the first world war. This is the blue version, there is also a green and red version. Blue was first grade, followed by red then green.
- 8.75 x 11.00 inches in size.
- Printed in the 1920s.
- Condition, some light exposure to moisture.
An original fruit crate label, not a copy, not a computer-printed art print. A vintage label intended to be pasted on a crate, but never used. Old stock from a warehouse find.
