Stock No. 103 Vintage Apple Crate Label

This an unused stock apple label, there is no shipper, grower or brand name.  To have a custom label printed you would contact the lithograph company, come up with a design and usually have a large number of labels printed.  If you were a small grower, or just had a small amount of certain type of fruit, lithograph companies had a variety stock labels on hand and could make a quick printing run with black ink putting on the brand, etc.  A very popular stock label, the three apples pop out at you, almost 3-D, inset of orchards, ornate borders.
