Placerville Pony Express Brand Vintage El Dorado County California Pear Crate Label
This fruit crate label was used by Placerville Fruit Growers Association. Wonderful image of Pony Express rider. The packing house burned down in the 1970s, this label was salvaged from what was left after the fire.
- 7.50 x 10.50 inches in size.
- Printed in the 1940s.
- Condition: missing two areas on corners, some staining from smoke from the fire and water that was used to put the fire out.
An original box label, not a copy, not a computer printed art print. A vintage label intended to be pasted on a wood crate, but never used. Old stock from a warehouse find.
