Indian Belle Brand Vintage Porterville Grapefruit Crate Label, t
This citrus crate label was used by Boydston Bros., out of Porterville, Tulare County, California. A stunning image of Native American Indian Chief with Indian Maiden on ledge, citrus groves in background. I would guess a few hundred of these were found, also in 4 variations, this is the high top version.
- 10.75 x 10.75 inches in size.
- Printed in the 1910s.
- Near mint condition, some light border wear mainly on bottom, doesn't complete fit on my scanner so I took two scans of the front.
An original, not a copy, not a computer-printed art print. A vintage label intended to be pasted on a crate, but never used. Old stock from a warehouse find.
