Indian Belle Brand Vintage Porterville Grapefruit Crate Label
This citrus crate label was used by Boydston Bros., out of Porterville, Tulare County, California. A stunning image of Native American Indian Chief with Indian Maiden on ledge, citrus groves in background. I would guess a few hundred of these were found, also in 4 variations. Was printed by Western Litho, who put a notation of when the label was printed. 9-16, this one was printed in September of 1916.

- Printed in the 1910s.
- Condition: some border wear, mainly on bottom right.
An original, not a copy, not a computer printed art print. A vintage label intended to be pasted on a crate, but never used. Old stock from a warehouse find.
