Colombo Brand Vintage Orange County Crate Label, bends

This citrus crate label was used by Placentia Orange Growers Association, Fullerton and Placentia, California.  A very scarce label with Christopher Columbus landing on North America.  This label was cut out of a full sheet that someone took from the lithograph company.  It had been folded up like a road map for years, thus the bends.

  • 10.00 x 11.00 inches in size.
  • Printed in the 1910s.
  • Condition: three horizonal creases, damage to right border.
An original fruit crate label, not a copy, not a computer-printed art print.  A vintage label intended to be pasted on a crate, but never used.  Old stock from a warehouse find.
