King's Cadets Brand Vintage Asparagus Crate Label

This produce crate label was used by F. S. and F. E. King, Clarksburg, Sacramento Delta, California. Ornate label with cadets marching, lots of gold trim, colors are very vibrant.

9.50 x 9.75 inches in size, wider at bottom and tapers toward top. Since asparagus is wider at the base, the crate is shaped the same to protect the asparagus from shifting in the crate.
Printed in the 1930s.
