Caligras Brand Vintage Sacramento Asparagus Crate Label, wear

This produce crate label was used by A. Levy & J. Zentner Co., Sacramento, California.  Wonderful image of asparagus being harvested, horse drawn wagon.

• 9.00 x 9.75 inches in size, wider at bottom and tapers toward top.  Since asparagus is wider at the base, the crate is shaped the same to protect the asparagus from shifting in the crate.
• Printed in the 1940s.
• Condition: tear on top, some border wear and handling marks.
